Women's Empowerment Month
As a part of Women's Empowerment Month, the NY Knicks and Chase covered the court time for five girls basketball programs - including the New York Grit! Here Coach Alan and Coach Victoria discuss the importance of the girls game in NYC, especially during Covid-19. WNBA’s 25th Anniversary
As a part of Women’s Empowerment Month and the WNBA’s 25th Anniversary, the NY Liberty covered a few special groups of women and girls to help shine a light on their wonderful work - including the New York Grit! These clips highlighted the strength and importance of women through New York City.
MOOLAH KICKS
The 1st Women’s Basketball Sneaker Brand
Moolah Kicks, founded by New York native Natalie White, is the first women’s basketball sneaker brand. Their basketball sneakers are for women, by women and are trying to bridge the gap between the lack of women basketball shoes for female ball players. In March, Moolah Kicks selected the New York Grit to be a part of their promo video to kick off their first sneaker. We are so excited to be a part of their amazing movement and can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future.
